:fishgreen: I bought two green clown gobies a couple of weeks ago....after the second day, I haven't seen anything of them at all....don't come out during feeding or anything. Do you suppose maybe they are hiding or did they have a quick death? Mine is a 46 gal reef tank w/2 clown fish, a bi color blennie, 3 cleaner shrimp, and 2 purple fire fish....several corals, zoas, etc. I don't think I have anything in there that would have eaten them...a carpet anemone?...but to have eaten both of them? Anyone with experience with these guys?

I had the same problem! I bought a green one from the pet store and put it in my 75 gal, seen it for about a week in my zoas. He didn't come out to eat or anything, I have yet to see him so far. Who knows he might still be in there since they like to hide, but I would say he bit the dust.

Hang in there. My green clown goby hid out for a week, but then showed up in some corals for hiding. Mine was very shy at first. Has done well so far but is the last to eat in the tank. Rick
