So I had a pretty bad green hair algae outbreak just recently in my nano. I know that better water would have preveted this, but that isn't the point if this topic. I went down to adventure pets in berea and found some MONSTER turbo snails for pretty cheap (1.99) they are mowing, I mean mowing, down the green hair algae which is an inch long in some places!!

I definately reccommend them if you are having algae problems. And while 1.99 is expensive compared to online stores, locally it's pretty awesome.

Sounds like giant magarita snails to me..... They do an awesome job on hair algae!!! Just be sure all your corals are all secured well, bc of their size they knock over a lot of stuff.... But f you have a bad hair algae problem they are definatly worth it.
